Rest - Atlantic puffin (Fratercula arctica)

Description

Rest is essential even for such a comic figure as the Puffin. By turning its head around and blanketing the beak in feathers, the bird enjoys some solitude in the noisy colony. Skomer Island is a strictly protected wildlife habitat, where only researchers and a very limited amount of day-trippers are allowed to be on the island in order to protect one of the largest puffin colonies of the British Isles.
