Take a deep breath - Grey seal (halichoerus grypus)

A Grey seal (halichoerus grypus) pup lying in the sand and sniffing into the fresh air on a little ledge above the beach where the adult seals are visible. The pup is still very young as it is wearing the fluffy bright white fur which, after some weeks it will shed and grow a much more stiff and darker fur that will help insulate against the cold waters of the high seas.
