Description

A huge Green turtle (Chelonia mydas) hovering over the seagrass in the Caribbean sea.. This species, like many other turtles, are endangered as they can hardly find suitable beaches to lay their eggs. Also, they are still hunted for food. Luckily, this place is a Marine Protection Area, so this individual has the possibility to live a calm and lengthly (turtles can live up to 80 years) life. Plage de Malendure, Guadeloupe.
